Energize Your Life! Summer Squash The most popular type of summer squash is zucchini. Other examples of summer squash are yellow crookneck, white squash, patty pan and cousa squash. These types of squash are great sources of folic acid, vitamin A and potassium. Additionally, summer squash are usually low in calories. Patty Pan Squash, (star looking style) are great for Dipping!
